Lawn Aeration

Aeration or Core Aeration is the process of putting small holes or mechanically removing small plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn. This improves natural soil aeration. Lawn aerating should be done annually and if you have problems areas twice yearly until soil quality improves.

Why Does this Help?

The benefits of aerating your lawn include improved air exchange in the soil and atmosphere, improved fertilizer uptake, stronger turf grass roots, improved heat and drought stress tolerance, and enhanced thatch breakdown.
